Saying “I Do” Everyday

We treat the vows as a thing you say once, in front of people, in good clothes. They read much better as a description of what Tuesday is supposed to look like. This is a book about the difference, one vow at a time, each with something to actually do.

It's written. Publishing is its own slow business, so rather than promise a date I'll simply tell you when there's real news, and nothing in between.

You'll also get the free 5-Minute Marriage Argument Reset while you wait.

The idea

The vows are a to-do list.

For better or worse. In sickness and in health. To have and to hold. Every line of it describes an action somebody has to take on an ordinary weekday, usually when they don't feel like it. Each chapter takes one vow, shows what it looks like when it quietly stops happening, and ends with the small daily version, the “Everyday I Do.”

You already made the promise. This is the instruction manual.
